We believe in assisting health-tech start-ups to scale, penetrate new markets and fine-tune their strategies, ultimately driving a transformative impact in the healthcare industry.

YEAR: 2019

Health Voitho's journey begins. We're researching preemptive cancer detection. Life is good. Masks are not a thing yet. Health and healthcare are thriving. Polio is almost vanquished. Genetic engineering and similar technologies are a reality.

YEAR: 2020

"It's a bird, it's a plane..."
No, it's Coronavirus! And not only is it here to stay, it is going to transform our lives completely. Including our health and the way we approach healthcare. Masks are now a thing. Health Voitho continues R&D.

YEAR: 2021

The unanticipated pandemic made us realise that there are inadequacies in the effective delivery of healthcare. The lacuna must be fulfilled before more lives are affected. Masks are still a thing. Fortunately, hope arrives as a vaccine and we are also all set to launch our outstanding integrated health-tech solutions.

YEAR: 2022

We have working towards preventive, precision and personalised health solutions. Through our network, we assist tech-heavy, cutting-edge health tech startups in scaling and expanding into new markets. We have a strong network in India, the Philippines, the UK, and South Africa. We have recently entered into partnerships with a few innovative companies:
- a Hyderabad-based startup specialising in precision medicine and personalised treatment using genomics and next-gen sequencing; founded by Harvard graduates and possessing an exclusive partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
- a Bangalore-based business that creates portable health screening equipment that can carry out various diagnostics (230+ parameters) in 15 minutes, using just 5 drops of blood and urine at the patient's location to quickly give the results with little manual input. This device can be used to quickly detect malaria, dengue, chikungunya, syphilis, TB, and COVID-19, as well as to detect diabetes, lung, kidney, liver, and heart-related issues. It can also be used to predict the risks of non-communicable, chronic diseases. It also provides cost-effective and quicker turn around times compared to regular diagnostic centres and is ideal for use in mass-screening drives by governments.

Dr. D. Prasanth Nair

CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

  • Mechanical engineer by training and education
  • People’s person by passion
  • Full-time human resource professional, with a doctorate from IIM Ahmedabad

At Health Voitho, Prashanth direct’s the passions in such a way, as to enable the perfect marriage between the technical perspectives we keep and the people-friendly approach we practice.
As a scientific but spiritual soul, Prashanth believes that the two go hand-in-hand. So the approach he takes towards healthcare is, securing your health through preventive care and providing peace of mind, which further nourishes both your body and soul.

Beyond his work as the director of Health Voitho, he is also the co-founder of Asynithis (Indus Partners). He also plays an active leadership role in ZingHR, a new-age HR-tech organisation and presently serve on the advisory board of NASSCOM Community. From time to time, He doubles up as a mentor for start-ups in Atal Innovation Centre – RMP, an initiative by Niti Aayog.
Some of his erstwhile experiences include his service towards GEC Alstom and various companies of the RPG Group, from where he went on to become the Head HR for Thomas Cook (Asia) and Global HR Head of Cipla.

While I am a mechanical engineer by training and education, the subject that I am most fluent in, is people. That is how I became a full-time human resource professional, with a doctorate from IIM Ahmedabad, the foundation of my pursuits. Is it any wonder then, that I ended up partnering with a brand like Health Voitho, which is all about human-care?

I will admit that while I do speak the language of healthcare, as an HR professional, I speak the language of the people, far better. And that is surprisingly what my purpose at Health Voitho is. To direct the passions in such a way, as to enable the perfect marriage between the technical perspectives we keep and the people-friendly approach we practice.

As a scientific albeit spiritual soul, I believe that the two go hand-in-hand. So the approach I like to take towards healthcare is, securing your health through preventive care and providing you peace of mind, which further nourishes both your body and soul.

Beyond my work as the director of Health Voitho, I am also the co-founder of Asynithis (Indus Partners). I also play an active leadership role in ZingHR, a new-age HR-tech organisation and presently serve on the advisory board of NASSCOM Community. Drupad Patel

Co-Founder & Finance Head

Finance is a crucial part of the healthcare industry. From getting investment, effectively managing the resources that those investments can afford, to making sure that what is going out into the world is fool-proof and will only serve to improve the lives of people.

Any judgement of error at any point of this process can have grave repercussions, including jeopardising lives. That is why it is absolutely crucial that finances, and consequently resources are managed with the least margin of error.

That is where I come in. Working as a chartered accountant, I have previously onboarded 100+ SMB clients with a collective revenue of $50+ million. And a favourite personal achievement includes negotiating a dispute between two parties, which resulted in a $2 million turnover partnership, almost resurrected from the brink of shut down.

Equipped with this experience, I am now stepping into healthcare with Health Voitho as my first endeavour. I believe that the iron-clad industry knowledge that I have gathered will allow me to propel this company towards success, by guiding it in the right direction, with the right resources.
